We like to see the new work of old friends, and the old work of new friends (and the in-betweens). We invite writers of poetry, narrative (both fiction and non-), journalistic essays, plays, and other pieces that lie outside the realm of the traditional.
Introduce yourselves and show off a small scrap of your words (a large scrap is fine, too, but we like to be low-pressure). You needn’t show us excerpts of the pieces you intend to read; truth be told, many of our readers have admitted to holding out until the last possible moment to choose their pieces. If you’d rather provide a link in lieu of attaching work, that’s fine with us. If tangible paper is your preference, don’t be shy about handing some pages to us at a reading.
Our only steadfast requirement is that you submit text-based work that is entirely your own.
